Hempstead Public Library recently completed a LED lighting retrofit with NYS OGS Preferred Source LED retrofit kits. Project received rebate funding from PSEG. Favorable project resulted in improving light quality, removing fluorescent bulbs and ballast toxins, and reducing energy consumption > 50 %.
